Four weeks Four Games?

Over the past days, Luumikit quietly came together — pages took shape, characters found their places, and the site slowly learned how to exist not just on desktop, but in pockets too. Making everything feel calm and readable on mobile took more time than expected, but it mattered. This universe should feel welcoming wherever you open it.

Nothing here is perfect yet. And that’s kind of the point.

So today, on Monday, we’re starting something new:

Four games in four weeks challenge.

Each week, we’ll build one very small game — simple ideas, clear rules, finished enough to be shared. Not big productions. Not polished epics. Just playable, honest experiments.

The goal isn’t speed for speed’s sake.
It’s momentum, learning, and finishing things.

The main characters? Of course, our Luumipals.

Here’s the rough plan (subject to change, like everything):

Week 1: No Monkey Business
A tiny timing game about a monkey, payments, and pressure.

Week 2: A guinea pig making deliveries against the clock.
Potholes included.

Week 3: A penguin who really wants to fly.
(Or at least not crash into the sea.)

Week 4: A chubby bear trying to rob picnics, bee nests, and your rubbish bins.

Development will happen live on stream and quietly off-stream too. Some days will be productive. Some will probably be confusing. Both count.

This Journal will stay the place where we write things down:
– What worked
– What didn’t
– What surprised us
– What we decided not to fix (yet)

No loud promises.
No rushed conclusions.

Just building, learning, and letting things grow at their own pace.

If you’re reading this — thanks for being here at the start of it.

— Luumikit
